Dedicate a weekend to mastering your EOS system. Picture spending a Saturday in a comfortable auditorium, big screen showing lots of gorgeous imagery exemplifying the lessons you will learn throughout this day of creative and technical exploration – that’s EOS Immersion Seminar.

Extend the learning experience and spend a Sunday with a small group of fellow enthusiast absorbing the expertise and practical experience of Canon pros in a dynamic hands-on workshop. Whether its Exploring HD Video with EOS or Creative Lighting with Speedlites you will leave the workshop with a new level of technical knowledge and creative capability.

EOS Immersion Seminar and Workshops are geared toward intermediate enthusiasts. The teaching will be delivered assuming students are comfortable with the basics of photography and their cameras. We offer an introductory class called EOS Discovery Day through some of our dealers.

Respected director and photographer Bruce Dorn is an Explorer of Light who will lead this intimate workshop that will open up a whole new world of creativity to Advanced Amateur photographers who want to shoot HD video with their EOS System. You’ll learn the essentials of directing, lighting, camera operation and scene creation. Bruce will discuss lens selection, camera support and audio consideration as you work in small groups to shoot a dramatic scene.

You will come away with the techniques and skills to create your own HD video masterpiece.

Workshop fee includes model fees and partial gear rental, beverages throughout the day. Lunch will be on your own. Participant should be very comfortable with their EOS equipment as the instructor will be teaching at an advanced amateur level. Please bring your favorite gear, plenty of memory cards and charged batteries. You will receive an email with complete instructions and location directions.

Light is everything in photography but it’s often unpredictable, uncontrollable or limited. In this workshop you’ll discover how to use Canon Speedlites to create and control the perfect light for a variety of situations. From basic flash photography concepts to multi-flash creative techniques used by professionals, this Speedlite experience will help you bring your photographs to life. Industry expert and pro photographer, Jeff Greene, will demonstrate the techniques that can be applied to a variety of scenarios including portraits and still-life. You will be working in a professional photography studio with models to ensure you leave the workshop with gorgeous images and a firm understanding of the Speedlite system.

You’ll come away from this workshop with an understanding of:
• The core concepts of flash photography and the EOS Speedlite System
• Essential lighting and flash exposure control
• Creative lighting techniques (including the E-TTL Wireless System)
