Each week brings us closer and closer to the WPPI Convention. And with each passing week we are revealing more about what you can expect. It’s information that will help you save money and organize your trip. So here are some more details…
November 3rd at 9 a.m. (PST) is the official opening day of registration for the WPPI 2011 Convention and Trade Show. Here’s that money-saving part I was talking about: Make sure you register early to take advantage of the early bird rate of $199—after December 15th the price will increase to $259. This early bird price includes over 80 Platform classes, evening events and something new this year, Launch Pad; which gets you a sneak peak of the latest and greatest products and new product releases before the exhibit, click here to see more about this event.
If you plan on taking PLUS classes (an additional $375)—a two-day workshop before the convention—make sure you register quickly because these classes go fast and they are limited to only 25 people. Click here to view all 13 PLUS classes being offered.
Speaking of selling out fast, you also need to get a jump on MasterClasses (an additional $50 for 1; or 3 for $100) because they are usually gone in the first half-hour of registration (class limit, 35 people), click here to see over 50 MasterClass speakers.
Also new this year is WPPI U (an additional $99 if you register before December 15), a day-and-a-half workshop with a full slate of classes for new photographers. Classes will cover all of the essentials you need to know for your new business. Click here for more information.
If you didn't already know, WPPI has a blog and our Publisher/Executive Vice President George Varanakis has been posting entries, so check out what he has to say. And leave us some comments because you never know if you will win a free gift, free registration or just pick up some great info. We update it daily so check it out at http://blog.wppionline.com or through our home page at wppionline.com.
