You can help Eastman House receive $100,000 from the Fieldings!

In 2010, Ron and Donna Fielding, active museum members for more than twenty years, will match every new and increased gift to the Museum¹s annual fund, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000. The annual fund provides general operating support for the museum, for everything from utility bills to salary costs to building maintenance.
Here’s how you can maximize your support:

* NOT A MEMBER? JOIN TODAY
* ALREADY A MEMBER? Increase your membership gift. Upgrade your membership, or contribute a few more dollars. For every additional dollar you contribute over last year¹s membership gift, the Fieldings will contribute that same amount.
* Give the gift of membership to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and retirements, or to reward good deeds! Purchasing a new gift membership will generate a donation from the Fieldings in the amount of that membership.
* Pay tribute to friends and family with gifts to the Museum in their honor. Your gift will be doubled by the Fieldings.

Ron’s involvement as a member of the Museum’s Board of Trustees and Donna’s service on the Eastman House Council’s Board of Directors have given them a unique understanding of the challenges George Eastman House faces in the coming year. The Fieldings’ passion for the Museum may in part stem from their first date, when they came to the Eastman House’s Dryden Theatre to watch an Akira Kurosawa film. They’ve been returning to the Dryden together ever since.

Over the years, the Fieldings have contributed nearly $3 million to George Eastman House. Their support has funded renovations in the Dryden Theatre, a new roof for the historic house, strategic planning efforts, exhibitions, and the Museum’s operating endowment. And now they ask you to join them in their efforts to overcome the Museum’s current economic challenges.
