Brighten your garden with Eastman House plants
Bring a little bit of Eastman House garden history into your personal landscape. Our historic plant sale on May 15 offers perennials and woody plants that have been grown from seeds, divisions, cuttings and offshoots from the Museum’s gardens. Members have a one-hour preview before the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. public sale.
Also, for the first time, the Museum is offering a Spring Flowering Bulb Fundraiser, supporting our Garden Education Program. Through the program, two college students studying horticulture or related disciplines at regional schools join our landscape staff for the summer. Amy Kinsey, the Museum's Nancy R. Turner Landscape Curator, has worked with a bulb supplier to choose tulips, daffodils, and other spring bulbs to plant this fall that have connections to the Museum's gardens through variety or color.
For a list of available varieties, for more information, or to order, visit www.eastmanhouse.org or call (585) 271-3361 ext. 224. Orders will be accepted May 15 to August 30. Order pickup will be at George Eastman House in early to mid-October, with shipping also available.
